We love that people are embracing the concept of refilling their own containers – Refill Don’t Landfill! In the past, we have accepted extra donated containers and bags from people. Unfortuantely, this has got a little out of hand so we have to put in some measures to control the flood of containers and bags.

Reuse Don’t Landfill! Another example how Earth’s General Store does things differently than any other store. We salvaged these bags that were destined for the waste stream so that our customers can reuse them before they are recycled. Reusing shows respect and honours the resources that went into making them.
Our second annual Harvest Swap and Gifting is an opportunity to share your excess harvest produce from your garden with others. Drop off your excess and if there is something that catches your eye pick it up and take it home to use.
