Usually, we carry pectin throughout the year and in the late summer and early fall we bring in larger quantities for the canning season. We usually carry the bulk pectin powder and Pomona’s Universal Pectin (which is a very popular brand).

Unfortunately, our supplier is not carrying this product any longer or having problems getting it in. Either way, they don’t have any and our inventory was depleted a few weeks ago. I am told by people coming in searching for this product that they had searched several other stores by no one had it.

I then spent some time to track down another supplier and I am very pleased to say that I was able to score some Pomona’s Universal Pectin.

So now all those people that love to can and store their summer fruits as preserves and jams we have Pomona’s Universal Pectin available for your canning needs.
