Edmonton’s Earth’s General Store is leading the way when it comes to reducing waste from plastic packaging. For over 27 years they have offered refilling for many products and over the past few years, they have expanded their offerings. People are embracing a plastic reduced lifestyle and shopping experience. This is part of our War on Waste.
We vote every day with our dollars of the kind of world we want. A significant portion of our Boreal forests is cut down to make toilet paper to be flushed down the toilet. There is a better option. You can choose toilet paper that uses recycled fiber content. This supports our recycling efforts and reduces the pressure on forests.
Hey – Tomorrow is Family Day (February 17, 2019) here in Alberta and we will observe shorter Family Day Hours. We will open at 11 am and close at 5 pm. Have a GREAT Day off work and enjoy the milder weather and sunshine.
There is still time to craft some DIY Christmas gifts. Do you want to make bath bombs with your children to give presents to their cousins? Do you want to make some chocolate treats? Do you want to craft some lip balms, body balms, soaps, etc?
