Cooking and Uncooking Classes

Plans are afoot to launch a regular series of cooking and uncooking classes for the winter months. We are just finalizing some details, and a list of classes will be up shortly.

These classes will be focused on developing skills, rather than just imparting recipes. People will learn how to make a meal that is nutritious, balanced, plant based, healthier, reasonably priced, and delicious. We intend to help people broaden their base storehouse of go-to recipes.

There will be raw deserts, kick-ass burritos, raw meals, from scratch soups, and all in an intimate setting, so you really get to know how everything goes together, and how it should taste throughout the process. These will be hosted by well-known local chefs who love what they do, and who wish to share some of their knowledge with you.

All items will be vegan, while easily modified to vegetarian fare.

These classes will be held at the downtown store (10150 – 104th Street) on alternate Sunday evenings.

What are we going to do for those other Sunday nights? Wait and see! I am sure you will be very pleasantly surprised and pleased what we have planned.
